MASTERING THE PIXSCAN MAT

Join Instructor Valerie Hartman to not only learn how to use your mat but LOVE your Silhouette PixScan mat!

After calibrating your phone camera with your machine, then learn to master the basics, all types of new options open up with your Silhouette.

Next learning to cut pre-printed scrapbook pages and make them into stickers. This is followed by cutting out fabric motif for a no-sew applique with an HTV outline. If time remains, cut out a stamped image (ours or yours). 
Lots of discussion on various ways to use your new skill to solve everyday practical problems.

You will need: Cameo, laptop, phone camera (the one you intend to use in the future), a method to send an image to a laptop (cable or digitally), PixScan mat.

Description: Did you get a new Silhouette Cameo Cutting Machines? Or one hiding in the closet that intimidates you? Then this class is for you! Join us to take that machine out of the box and cut. You won't want to miss this opportunity!  We will go through setting up your machine and software, introduction to Silhouette Studio and make a project step by step. Each student will have a 6' table with electric to each table. You will need to bring your Cameo (1 , 2, 3 or 4) machine, laptop, mouse, mats, and tools. Feel free to bring your own beverage but they need to be kept  in a covered cup. Adults, 18 years and older. * A new blade is recommended but not required.
* Laptop Computer with Silhouette Software installed, version 4.2.279 or higher.
* Double-check you have cords for everything. #1 forgotten item, followed by your computer.
* Optional: Brown Bag Lunch for a quick lunch outside the building.

What is supplied:
* Instructor and 2 Assistants who are TJC Silhouette Licensed.
* Handouts, files, and fonts.
* All blanks, vinyl, htv and other supplies needed to complete the projects.
* Lots of learning, fun, and friendship.
